If you visit Paris you must visit the Eiffel Tower, if you visit Northern Ireland you must visit the Giant’s Causeway. The Giant’s Causeway is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is one of the greatest natural wonders of the world. In the land of myth’s and legends the story is that it was the giant Finn McCool who built the causeway although scientists would argue that it was actually created by a volcanic eruption more than 60 million years ago forming the iconic basalt columns. Why not visit and decide for yourself?
The Giant’s Causeway is part of the North Antrim Coastal route which has been described by National Geographic as “With natural drama and world-famous whiskey, this coastal county is Northern Ireland at its rugged best.” Our Antrim coast road tour takes in some of the most specular scenery and breath-taking views in the world. From quaint little harbour towns to gushing waterfalls. We provide plenty of stops to allow you to capture this beautiful scenery. On a clear day you can see Co Donegal to the west and Scotland to the east. We are more than happy to accommodate Game of Thrones fans to include the many filming locations along the coastal route. Should it be a day tour or a multi trip tour we are more than happy to oblige.
Stop along the way include Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge which was built over 350 years ago by the local fishermen to enable them to catch the salmon in the Atlantic Ocean below. It is managed and maintained by the National Trust. The rope bridge is 30 metres above the sea and 20 metres across. We dare you cross, it is a challenge!
